The RealNZ story began in 1954 when Les and Olive, Lady Hutchins started taking visitors into the unexplored Doubtful Sound. We continue their dream of sharing the spectacular wilderness with visitors. The company is still family-owned, with the next generations stepping into the business in various ways.
We have vast local knowledge and a passion for sharing it with visitors. As a result, we can deliver a better experience. We are based in Queenstown, Te Anau, Milford Sound, Manapouri, Bluff and Stewart Island.
